If it’s a home pregnancy test, you will need to wait at least 21 days, but you can get a blood test, which is more accurate and that will tell you 6 – 8 days after ovulation.
I know it can seem like an interminable wait, but there’s no point in checking until a few weeks after you have had unprotected sex. Best wait until you miss your period, and then check.
Usually around a week or so after you’ve missed your period is the best time to take a test. That will give you the best indicator of whether you are pregnant or not.
