My OB prescribed me prenatal vitamins, but I’ve taken my MLM supplements for years and I know they’re healthy for me and my little one! Should I just tell my Dr. that I’m taking hers and keep taking mine, or do you guys have an opinion on the best pregnancy vitamins I should take?

I say do whatever you want. It’s your body and if you’re comfortable taking your personal supplements then go for it.
I’ve always taken OTC prenatal vitamins. I just took the bottle in to my OB for approval and there was never an issue. Prescription might make them cheaper though.
I didn’t take any at all. A good diet should be enough to support your baby with no problems. Just focus on healthy food choices and fresh fruits and veggies and you’ll be fine.
Please, please, listen to your doctor! If you don’t have a medical degree, then you need to put down the supplements and do what your doctor told you to do. The best pregnancy vitamins are the ones that your OB advises you to take. There are also plenty of OTC options that contain everything you and your growing baby will need to be healthy. Look for ones that contain omegas and a complete range of vitamins and minerals. Don’t take anything that isn’t advised by an actual medical professional.
